Cosmetology
Our Cosmetology Program prepares students for a career in the glamorous world of beauty. Today, a cosmetologist must understand classic design as well as have up-to-the-minute knowledge of current trends. At the College of Hair Design, our Cosmetology Program instructs students on technical hair design, as well as teaches them the customer service and business skills they need for success.Our cosmetology program will train, coach, and inspire you to "See, Think, Create, and Adapt" as a future salon professional. The Pivot Point curriculum is the most comprehensive and current training system available. Our hands-on training will give you the skills and expertise you need to make your hands accomplish what your mind envisions. As a cosmetologist, you will enjoy exciting and creative work, and the reward is immediately apparent when your clients leave the salon happy and satisfied.
The Cosmetology Program provides 2,100 hours of education to prepare students for the Nebraska State Cosmetology Board Exam so they can obtain their license to practice Cosmetology in the state of Nebraska at an entry level. The program takes 14 months to complete. Your training and expertise will prepare you for a glamorous and rewarding new career, such as:
