Federal Student Aid

Listed below are the Federal Student Financial Aid Programs available to students attending College of Hair Design.

• Federal Pell and Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (SEOG)
• Federal Stafford Student Loans
• Federal Parent Loan

The College of Hair Design offers financial aid to those who qualify.

You may determine your eligibility for the above programs by using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This form is available from your high school counseling office or from our office. You can also access it online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Financial aid awards are contingent upon student completion and return of necessary paperwork in a timely manner.

If you have already filed a FAFSA for the current award year, please do not submit a duplicate application, as it will be rejected by the Department of Education.

Federal Stafford Student Loans are low interest loans made to students and often pay for the majority of a student’s tuition. Repayment begins 6 months after a student graduates or leaves the program. The first disbursement of this loan will be made 30 days after the borrower begins school.

Federal Parent Loan are low interest loans made to parents to help pay for their child’s educational expenses.
