Housing

Adequate housing is available throughout Lincoln. The Lincoln Board of Realtors estimates that Lincoln has more that 13,000 apartment units. The Howard family that owns the College of Hair Design, has a limited number of apartments available to College of Hair Design Students. These apartments offer the close community feeling of a college dormitory with the spaciousness of an apartment. The school office personnel will be glad to assist you in arranging accommodation.

Advising

School related issues are often resolved with the help of caring staff members. Although CHD does not employ a credentialed counselor, staff is available and willing to refer students to an individual or service that is able to provide such counseling services.

Student Council

Each class elects two representatives to the student council. Student council meets periodically for the purpose of student government and activity planning.

Job Placement

Before graduation, students are asked if they desire job placement assistance. A current list of available positions is maintained and accessible to our graduates in the school office. We are proud of our placement record and the success of our graduates, but it should be understood that the school cannot guarantee employment.
